Roboboogie is a strategic digital agency based in Portland, OR that specializes in web optimization through the use of A/B testing, user research, and digital transformation.
I arrived at Robo mid-pandemic as a contract designer before quickly earning a stake as a full time employee and ultimately working my way up to my current position as Sr. Strategic Designer.
My tasks at Robo span across support for client projects as well as internal initiatives including design for the company website, strategic support for sales and new business development, and content creation in the form of design, illustration, and animation.
Digital Transformation Explainer Video

In an effort to quickly explain the immense benefits of the Digital Transformation services Roboboogie offers, I teamed up with the internal sales and marketing team to produce an animated short.
I was brought into the project with an existing script framework from which I scrubbed together a storyboard to represent the visual flow of information. I then used Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects to create this minute long teaser video with the goal of driving more understanding and interest around the service program.
This project was a blast to work on given the need to stay grounded within the existing brand guidelines while exploring animation, an entirely new marketing tactic used by Robo. I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with my coworkers to iterate the video into its final form, which even included holding auditions from team members to record voiceover snippets to be used as the final narrator.
CIO Magazine - Print Ad
Roboboogie was offered an exclusive award by CIO magazine that included a full page advertisement slot. I took the strategic initiative from the leadership team and laid out this ad with the intention that viewers would navigate to the URL listed, which would then serve up a dedicated landing page experience with more details.
Digital Transformation Landing Page
The Roboboogie digital transformation landing page was created as a link between our CIO full page advertisement, but also could serve a dual purpose of informing users who visit the main site. I designed this page to include relevant imagery used in the print ad, as well as the animated video outlining our approach to digital transformation. Lastly, I created a form section where users could set up a time to chat with a representative to learn more.
In an industry filled with competitive work, false promises, and lack of support for full time employees, Roboboogie is an oasis of positivity. Fueled by strong leadership & tangible support for it’s employees, Robo is a hub for creative, clever, and collaborative individuals that have clearly been given the opportunity to utilize their intelligence and charisma to contribute outstanding work to the world.
